报告摘要: This talk will present some of the lessons learnt while implementing predictive controllers on embedded systems. In particular, I will discuss interior points methods for the solution of the optimal control problem, the advantages and issues that arise when one does not use IEEE double-precision floating-point when computations are performed and some practical applications
报告人简介: Dr Stefano Longo (MSc, PhD, MIEEE, MIET) is a Lecturer in Vehicle Electronic Systems at Cranfield University (UK) and honorary Research Associate at Imperial College London. He received his MSc in Control Systems from the University of Sheffield in 2007 and his PhD in Networked Control Systems from the University of Bristol in 2011. He was a Research Associate at Imperial College London in 2010-2012. His PhD thesis was awarded the prestigious Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Control and Automation Prize for significant achievements in the area of control engineering. His work and his research interests gravitate around the problem of implementing advanced control algorithms in hardware, where the algorithm design and the hardware implementation are not seen as two separate and decoupled problems, but as a single interconnected one |
