Abstract We propose a novel quantum anomalous Hall effect (QAHE) characterized by simultaneous nonzero charge and spin Chern numbers, with the time reversal symmetry broken by antiferromagnetic (AFM) exchange field. At the edge of a finite sample, there appears a non-dissipative charge current. The current is fully spin polarized and is reversible by electric field, while the total spin magnetization is zero. Therefore, this QAHE state is expected very ideal for spintronics. We show by first-principles calculations that this state can be realized in perovskite materials.
