Key insights will be shared from BP’s latest in-depth, industry-wide assessment of technology potential and the implications for the future for all aspects of energy resource access, energy value chains and energy consumption, and some regional perspectives. What the implications could be for China will be addressed, in the context of China’s own energy supply challenges and innovation potential.

 

【主讲人简介】

As Head of Technology, David Eyton is accountable for technology strategy and its implementation across BP, and conducting research and development in areas of corporate renewal. In this role, Mr. Eyton sits on the UK Energy Technologies Institute and Science Business Innovation Boards.

Prior to this, David Eyton was BP’s Exploration and Production Group Vice President for Technology. In this role David was responsible for research and development, technical service work, digital and communications technology, and procurement and supply chain management for BP’s upstream business.

David Eyton is a fellow of the UK Royal Academy of Engineering, Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining, and Institute of Directors.

“清华海外名师讲堂”面向全校学生开放，一般每年开设20-30讲，课程采用学生IC卡记录考勤。凡在读期间累计听讲8次并递交总结报告者，可获得1个学分（相关事宜请联系62796650）。
