演讲人简介：Prof. DANIEL HERWITZ received his MA and PhD from University of Chicago in 1984 in Philosophy, Literature and the Arts. He has served as the Director of the Humanities Institute at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor for eight years and is presently Frederick G. L. Huetwell Professor in Comparative Literature and the Director of Graduate Studies. His research interests include North America and Globalization.
