Physical Review Letters publishes over 20,000 pages of scientific content per year while maintaining its presence as the premier physics journal. The purpose of this talk is to shed light into Physical Review Letters editorial process and policy and address the many questions frequently raised by the thousands of active authors, referees and readers. I will discuss upcoming projects and policy changes that may affect you and reflect on how PRL needs to orient itself in the rapidly changing landscape of scientific publishing.
个人简介:Dr. Kevin Dusling received his B. Sc in Mechanical Engineering from The Cooper Union in 2004 and Ph. D. in Physics from SUNY at Stony Brook in 2008. He worked as a research associate at Brookhaven National Laboratory from 2008 to 2010, and North Carolina State University from 2010 to 2013. Since 2013, he has been the assistant editor of American Physical Society.
