报告摘要: Abstract: In this talk both interferometric and non-interferometric methods for 3D imaging will be discussed, with particular emphasis on multi-wavelength digital holography and transport of intensity. Mutli-wavelength digital holography is applied to reconstructions of various objects. Besides demonstration of very large and very small synthetic wavelengths, of particular recent interest is the 3D reconstruction of level 3 details in latent fingerprints. Also, it is demonstrated how the transport of intensity equation, along with its coupled transport of phase equation can be used to obtain better estimates of imaged phase and 3D profiles. The interrogated phase is from self-phase modulation of a laser beam in a thermal medium. Biography: Partha P. Banerjee is Professor and Chair of Electro-Optics and Photonics at the University of Dayton, where he has been from 2000. From 1991-2000 he was with the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and from 1984-1991 with Syracuse University. He received his BS from the Indian Institute of Technology in 1979, and his MS and PhD from the University of Iowa in 1980 and 1983, respectively. He has authored/co-authored 5 books, over 130 journal papers and over 200 conference papers/presentations. He is Fellow of OSA, SPIE and Institute of Physics, and received the NSF ca. He chaired the Digital Holography conferences in 2010 and 2015, was chair of OSA Environmental Sensing Committee, topical editor for Applied Optics, and recently lead guest editor of a joint issue of Digital Holography in Applied Optics and JOSA B.
