报告摘要:Neutrino physics is now entering the precision era. Current and future neutrino oscillation experiments will reach the sensitivity to probe new physics beyond the standard model (SM). A model-independent way of studying new physics in neutrino oscillation experiments is provided by the framework of nonstandard interactions (NSI). In this talk, the speaker will show a hint of NSI may exist in the current NOvA and T2K data. After that, we shall discuss sensitivities to SM and NSI parameters at future long-baseline neutrino experiments, DUNE, T2HK and T2HKK. Detection of NSI in solar neutrino oscillations with Hyper-Kamiokande and JUNO will also be explored.
报告人简介:Dr. Jiajun Liao is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Hawaii. His research interests lie in the areas of neutrino physics, as well as dark matter and flavor physics. He got his Ph.D degree from Iowa State University in 2014 and his M.Phil degree from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2009. Before that, he attended University of Science and Technology of China.
