Dr. Kambara was engaged in developing instrument for electron scattering, ionization methods as well as ion sources for mass spectrometer, and DNA analysis technologies and instruments. He would like to talk about his experience during his research works. In addition, he will talk about life surveyor project in Japan, which aims to develop tools and methods for analysing single cell. He is the leader of this project.
Dr. Kambara has published over 80 papers on mass spectrometry and DNA analysis, and holds more than 100 patents in Japan and U.S.A.
