Research |
June, 1994 – July, 1996 Undergraduate research on the denaturing and refolding processes of creatine kinase, in Dr. Hai-Meng Zhou’s laboratory, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. Three original papers were published.
May, 1997 – May, 2002 Graduate research on the structure and function of cyclic nucleotide-gated channels, in Dr. King-Wai Yau’s laboratory, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Four original papers and a book chapter have been published.
June, 2002 – March, 2004 Postdoctoral research on the physiology of light-sensing retina ganglion cells, in Dr. King-Wai Yau’s laboratory, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland, USA. One original paper has been published.
April, 2004 – December, 2007 Postdoctoral research on PKA signaling in neurons using advance optical techniques, in Karel Svoboda’s laboratory, Cold Spring Harbor, New York, USA. Two original papers have been published. Another (as first and corresponding author) is in preparation.
January, 2008 – Research specialist with Dr. Eric Betzig in HHMI, Janelia Farm Research Campus, working on synaptic protein distribution using nanometic light microscopy in correlation with EM. One review article is in preparation. |
