Title: On Measurement of Trust Transitivity
Venue: Tsinghua University, FIT Building, Room 3-125
Speaker: Dr. Yixiang Chen ,Affiliation, Shanghai Key Lab of Trustworthy Computing East China Normal University
There have several models to compute the transtive degree of trusts in a trustnetwork such as BBK-scheme and subjective logic approach.
In this presentation, we use the reals in the unit interval [0,1] to define trust degrees. The larger its trust degree is, the more it is trustworthy. Conversely, the smaller its trust value is, the less it is trustworthy. So, If A trusts B by 100% then we can say that A is to trust B, while if A trusts B by 0% then we say that A is to distrust B. Thus if A trusts B by 50%, then we do not know whether or not A trusts B. The value of half is uncertain for the trustworthiness.
