A compact pulse hadron source as a university-based accerator platform for the multipurpose nuetron reseach work facility will be builded in Deparment of Engneering Physics of Tsinghua university. This talk will giveout the layout arrangement and some engineering paraments. A existing empty old accerator building will be used for the CPHS facility. The facility will include the ECR ion source, the low energy beam transport, the RFQ accelerator, the MEBT, the drift tube linac, the Berylliun target, the RF system, the cooling water system and some nuetron reseach instruments.
