国际翻译家联盟秘书长，北京外国语大学高级翻译学院客座教授。曾任国际翻译高校联盟秘书长，比利时布鲁塞尔自由大学高级翻译学院院长，台湾文藻外语学院多国语复译研究所指导委员会主席、翻译系教授，是多家口笔译领域期刊的编委会成员和/或学术顾问委员会成员。擅长英、德、荷、法语互译。拥有35年口笔译教学经验。

 

 

From 2006 until 2010, he taught interpreting within the Department of Translation and Interpreting of Wenzao Ursuline College of Languages where he also served as Dean of the Graduate Institute of Multilingual Translation and Interpreting – GIMTI. 

 

He worked for the Council of the European Union as trainer of Dutch for linguists (translators, interpreters and terminologists from European Commission, Council of the European Union, European Parliament and other EU bodies) from 1990 until 2006.

 

He used to teach translation and interpretation at ISTI-Brussels (Institut supérieur de Traducteurs et Interprètes – Graduate Institute of Translators and Interpreters Free University of Brussels) between 1981 – 2001 and served as its director from 2000 until 2006.

 

He was Secretary General of CIUTI (Conférence Internationale permanente d’Instituts Universitaires de Traducteurs et Interprètes - International Permanent Conference of University Institutes of Translators and Interpreters, www.ciuti.org) from 2003 until 2006.

 

He sat on the Academic Committee of the XVIII FIT World Congress held in Shanghai, China in August 2008.

 

He is a member of the editorial board and/or scientific advisory committee of several journals in the field of translation and interpreting.
