戴维·戴姆拉什(David Damrosch) 是美国当代著名学者，1975年在耶鲁大学获得学士学位，1980年获得博士学位。长期在哥伦比亚大学任教，曾任该校英文和比较文学系主任，美国比较文学学会会长等职。现任哈佛大学比较文学系主任，英文和比较文学教授。主要著作包括：The Narrative Covenant: Transformations of Genre in the Growth of Biblical Literature (Harper and Row, 1987; Cornell, 1991); We Scholars: Changing the Culture of the University (Harvard UP, 1995); Meetings of the Mind（2003）; What Is World Literature? (Princeton UP, 2003); How to Read World Literature (Blackwell, 2009)等。他还是The Longman Anthology of British Literature 以及 The Longman Anthology of World Literature (2004)的创始主编。此外，他还在众多国际学术刊物上发表论文近百篇。
