The speech will focus on the issue of the real estate bubble to explain the following four questions:

（1）How do we determine if there is a bubble in a real estate market?

（2）If there is one, what determines the damage caused by a bubble?

（3）How concerned should we about the Chinese real estate markets?

（4）How should monetary policy react to a bubble?

Abdullah Yavas，威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校商学院房地产与城市土地经济学系系主任，兼任Robert E. Wangard Real Estate主席，主要研究领域有：房地产经纪、抵押合同、房地产拍卖、信息经济学与实验经济学。Yavas教授在房地产、财务与经济学的同行评审期刊发表超过60篇文章。根据论文发表数量，2001年他名列在世界前500大经济学家名单中；此外，被Journal of Real Estate Literature评为1994至1998年间Real Estate Journals出版刊物的50大作者中的第6名。
