The JPI Urban Europe was established in 2011. Joint Programming means a structured and strategic process, whereby Member States of the European Union voluntarily agree to work in partnership towards common visions, encapsulated in a Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda and implemented through joint actions.

The presentation will provide insights in the aims, structures, activities and experiences of the JPI Urban Europe and preliminary results and experiences of the pilot call for proposals between NSFC and nine funding agencies from Europe.
