Dr. Tang Yiping obtained his B.S. degree (1988) and M. S. degree(1991) in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University, and He obtained his PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Ottawa, Canada. He proposed the first-order mean spherical approximation (FMSA) closure for the Ornstein-Zernike integral equation. The FMSA has been successfully applied to various fluids, including inhomogeneous cases. It has wide applications on the calculation of physical properties in chemical engineering. Now Dr. Tang is working as a senior scientist in Honeywell Process Solutions, Canada.
