简介: |
Inkjet printing has gained in the last years increasing interest as solution deposition and patterning technique in the field of organic electronics or biological applications. As a versatile technique inkjet printing can be used to create patterns, lines or layers of living cells,[1] metal nanoparticles[2] or electroactive polymers.[3] Thereby, inkjet printing serves about the advantages of a precise, contactless and material-efficient processing.
The talk will give a general overview of the inkjet printing technology and basic working principles. The presentation will introduce different parameters that need to be optimized in order to yield homogeneous inkjet-printed structures. Furthermore, selected applications like the preparation of conductive patterns and organic light emitting diodes as well as the creation of microarrays and 3D objects will be discussed.
