报告简介:
Our planet is under various bounding conditions. They are called “planetary boundaries”: population, water, food, energy, CO2 emission, biodiversity, and so on. Concerning energy and CO2, the advancement of renewable energies and the reduction of energy consumption draw increasing attention. Because renewable energies alone are not sufficient to replace depletable energies (i.e. fossil and nuclear), the reduction of energy consumption is indispensable. In this lecture, Dr. TAKUMA will briefly give an overview of the world trends of low-energy building technologies, especially in Europe, North America, and Japan. He conclude that afterwards low-energy building architecture differs according to the climate: whether it is cold, temperate or tropical, as well as whether it is humid or arid. Finally, he proceed to discuss the matter in the light of STS from the viewpoint of “technological paradigm” and "Strategic Niche Management”.
