NP Photonics is using innovative glass and fiber technology to design, produce and deliver a new class of advanced optical light sources for a number of applications, such as sensing, LIDAR, spectroscopy, and metrology. We have been developing a family of products based on proprietary glass, fiber and intelligent controls. Our products are tunable, small, powerful and highly reliable, which include single-frequency fiber lasers (1 mm, 1.5 mm and 2 mm), ASE sources, and high power single-frequency fiber lasers (up to ~ 25 W). In this presentation, we will introduce: (1) NP’s specialty glasses, fibers and some of standard products; (2) NP’s unique R&D capabilities based on its proprietary specialty glasses and fibers, which are helping NP Photonics to attract and carry out government contracts, and offer unique prototype services for government and commercial customers; and (3) our monolithic single-frequency pulsed fibers in MOPA and fiber laser frequency nonlinear conversion.
