简介:
Laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) spectra of jet-cooled boron difluoride (BF2) and aluminum dicarbide (AlC2) radicals have been observed. Strong LIF bands of the BF2 radical observed in the region of 2920035100 cm-1 were assigned as the A~2u – X~2A1 bands. Due to large changes in the geometry upon excitation, the origin transitions (000 bands) are too weak to be detected. Renner-Teller effect is expected in the excited states due to the strong vibronic interaction which splits the degenerated state into two separated electronic states. The LIF spectrum of isotopomer 10BF2 was detected separately, and isotope shifts were obtained. Rotational constants of two isotopologues obtained from high resolution LIF spectra were used to determine the effective zero-point structures of the ground states. The LIF spectra of the AlC2 radical was found in the region of 2190026200 cm-1 and assigned as C~2B2 – X~2A1 and D~2B1 – X~2A1 transitions. The bending vibration mode (v2) was newly found in the C~2B2 state by the Sync-LIF technique which was invented to improve the single-noise ratio and sample selection ability. Molecular geometries in different electronic states were determined by the rotational-resolved high resolution LIF spectra.
