数字化人体建模和仿真在生产设计、标准化生产、制造、运动仿生机械学和其他领域上都有着重要的作用,它减少了设计者反复设计的次数,增加了产品的安全性和设计质量。目前,由数据驱动的模型广泛应用在工程和仿生力学应用上。
杨景周副教授是德州理工大学机械工程系人性化设计研究实验室主任。本次报告介绍了该设计研究实验室的研究课题,包括:1.人性化工程。研究以最优化为基础的数字化人体建模,用以辅助设计及工程,其应用包括传动器调节研究、汽车内饰设计评价、坐姿及站姿稳定性等。2.医疗工程。研究发展新型的预测模型,用以评价人体保护器材。3.修复学研究。研究发明新型的复健机构及配套系统,辅助残疾人士康复。

Dr. Jingzhou (James) Yang is currently an Assistant Professor and Director of Human-Centric Design Research Lab, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas. He received his BS and MS degrees in Automotive Engineering from Jilin University, China, in 1989 and 1992, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa in 2003. Dr. Yang was a faculty member at the Department of Automotive Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China from 1992 to 1997. He was a Research Engineer at the Center for Computer Aided Design, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor with the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, the University of Iowa from August 2003 to August 2008. Dr. Yang is the recipient of the 2001 Arch T. Colwell Merit Award from Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the 2004 Outstanding Paper Award from American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the 2007 Prometheus Award "Top Government Technology of the Year", and the 2010 Whitacre Engineering Research Award from Texas Tech University. Dr. Yang’s research interests include physics-based human modeling, ergonomics, biomechanics, healthcare engineering, and robotic and mechanical systems. |
