Dr. Jiping Ye is the Director and Head of materials science at the Nissan Analytical Research Centre Ltd near Yokohama, Japan, which offers analytical services for Nissan Motor and many other major advanced R&D companies in Japan. Dr. Ye is generally considered a pioneer in battery degradation analysis and advanced analysis of lithium ion battery, and the use of quantitative property measurement at the nanoscale. He serves on a variety of steering committees that regulate nanoscale property measurements. He obtained his PhD in physics from the Tokyo Institute of Technology and then worked as a research associate in electrical engineering in Purdue University, USA. |
