TFT- LCD will be a major ICT industry in China as vast investments have been announced. As a late comer, novel technologies leap-frog toward next generation products are essential. In this talk, power consumption reduction by more than a factor of 10, material/components reduction and others toward green, more environmental friendly and human friendly for designing TFT-LCD as Eco-displays will be presented.
